WELCOME TO VIRTUS SPORT AND EXTREMITY!

NEW PATIENTS

Welcome to Virtus Sport and Extremity! We are thrilled to have you join our community. As a premier chiropractic and physical therapy clinic serving the Redmond and Kirkland areas, our mission is to guide you on a journey toward better movement, optimized function, and overall wellness. Whether you are an elite athlete or simply seeking relief from daily aches, we are dedicated to getting you back to doing what you love.

We believe in immediate action. You will receive a clear diagnosis, a personalized treatment plan, and—most importantly—treatment on your very first visit. Our providers utilize a blend of advanced techniques tailored to your specific needs. To ensure your visit is seamless, our team handles the heavy lifting regarding insurance verification before you arrive. We simply ask that you arrive ready to move—wearing comfortable clothing like tank tops or shorts—so we can access the treatment area effectively. We look forward to seeing you at our locations!

"You're the warrior. We're here to get you back on the battlefield, not to pull you off." - Dr. Molly Sparks

WHAT YOU NEED FOR YOUR FIRST APPOINTMENT

HOW TO PREPARE

  • Insurance Information: After booking, our office will reach out to collect your insurance details. Please be on the lookout for a call or text so we can connect to complete your intake information. You are also welcome to call us for faster verification.
  • Patient Documents: We will send you injury-specific forms to fill out before your appointment. If you are unable to complete them beforehand, please arrive 20 minutes early to complete them in the office.
  • Dress Appropriately: Because our treatments often involve movement assessments and manual therapy, we recommend wearing the type of clothing you would wear when exercising. This ensures you are comfortable and allows your provider to access the treatment area. For example:
    • Shoulder or Upper Body: A tank top or loose sleeveless shirt is best.
    • Knee or Lower Body: Please wear shorts or loose-fitting pants that can be easily rolled up.

Do you take Insurance?

We are preferred providers for all major insurance companies in Washington State. Here is a list of a few: Premera, Regence, Aetna, United Health Care, First Choice, Kaiser Permanente PPO, American Specialty Health, Cigna, and Kaiser Permanente HMO.

Do you take X-rays?

We do not take x-rays in the clinic, but if the provider suspects imaging is medically necessary, we will be sure to get you the correct referral in the quickest fashion.

What does cupping do?

Cups create a vacuum effect, suctions the skin and underlying tissue, promoting increased blood flow and circulation. Cupping is often used to alleviate muscle tension, reduce pain, and improve overall relaxation

How long are the appointments?

Our first new patient appointment is around 1- 1.5 hours and all of our follow up appointments are around 45 minutes - 1 hour.

Do I have to be adjusted?

We understand that adjustments can be scary. We strive to make our patient feel as comfortable as possible. Therefore if you do not want to be adjusted you do not have to. Through all of the other rehabilitation exercises, soft tissue and mobilization techniques, we can create a great result.

How much does it cost?

We will bill out to your insurance company and every insurance company has a different set rate.
